We made these foil packets for the first time this past summer and they were a HIT. The original recipe uses smoked sausage and potatoes but I subbed it with turkey sausage and brussel sprouts. What's great about the foil packets is that you make them individually so you can really customize them to each person's preference. Perfect if you're cooking for someone with food allergies or picky eaters 😁 Fynn and Zander thought the cajun was a little spicy the first time we made it, so next time I ... View the Post
Instant Pot Turkey Enchilada Soup
Picture credits: The Salty Marshmallow I found this soup recipe and I wasn't sure how the family would feel about eating soup in 90 degree weather. Personally, I LOVE soup and can it year-round. It turned out to be so delicious and there was even enough for leftovers. My younger two thought it was a little spicy. I think rotel in general is a little bit spicy even if you get the mild one so if that is a concern, you can probably leave the rotel out altogether. I made this in the instant pot, ... View the Post

Sheet Pan Sausage, Veggies & Smashed Potatoes
Equal parts healthy and delicious, this sheet pan recipe calls for cut sausage, veggies and a seasoning mix that brings it altogether! I got a little lazy the night we made this so Mark was in charge of the cooking. Fair warning, Mark thought it was too much work. BUT, in the end it was all worth it because it so good. We will end up making it again at some point. ???? Note: the original recipe calls for regular potatoes, but we used sweet potatoes. I think it would be tasty either way! xo, ... View the Post
Clubhouse Turkey Burgers
We made these turkey burgers a few days ago for the first time ever. Mark was in charge of grilling the burgers and I made the green beans. Popped them in the oven to roast and they turned out delish. The turkey burgers were so yummy too! Everything is easy to prep/make and require minimal ingredients. It's a good option when you want to have a nice, homemade meal, but you don't have time or you just don't feel like cooking an intricate dinner. Whenever you guys try out any of the recipes on ...
