Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my blog!
My name is Jaime Shrayber and I’m a wife & Mom to 3 boys living in Plano, Texas. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I worked in the fashion industry for many years after graduating from TCU- first with Neiman Marcus, then with Fossil Corporate. After having all the babies, I felt I needed a creative outlet. I was a stay at home mom to 3 boys under the age of 4, and quite honestly starting to lose my mind!
I decided to start a personal shopping business on the side, but I didn’t love all of the driving to and from the clients houses, the mall etc. Insert this is when online shopping started to become my best friend! Anyway, I had a blog for my boys at the time, and followed a handful of fashion bloggers. The idea occurred to me one day to start my own fashion blog. I still remember the day I came up with my blog’s name like it was yesterday… the exact spot in our old house where I was sitting, as I watched our youngest toddle around in his diaper. With lots of encouragement from the hubs and family I launched The Real Fashionista in July of 2014.
I never in my wildest dreams thought this would ever become a full time job plus have employees of my own! I have my own little team that we call TRF (The Real Fashionista) and this would never be possible without all my readers support and loyalty throughout the years. This truly is my dream job and I feel so incredibly lucky. So again, thank you all!
Here are a few of my favorite posts –
- My Boys
- Easy Recipes – (you will soon find out I am NO cook 🙂 but want the boys to have home cooked meals)
- Park City posts – Our dream is to one day move to Park City, Utah. We love it there and go any chance we get!
