How to Make a Protein Smoothie at Home
Today I’m sharing how I make my healthy protein smoothie right at home. I used to make this shake years ago and I call it my “Green Smoothie”. I stopped for awhile because I was drinking it every single day. Since then, I’ve changed a few things like adding a protein powder to mix it up and I’ve started making it more often as a healthy mid-morning pick-me-up.
I add half of a frozen banana, a cup of ice, a cup of water, a handful of spinach and an entire packet of protein powder. I actually like the chocolate better than the vanilla but they are both good. I’m going to start ordering it online (here), but you can also buy them from any regular grocery store. Then, I add one teaspoon of the PB fit powder and finally, you can put the unused half of the banana back in the freezer and use it for your next smoothie. For reference, here’s what a “handful of spinach” looks like.
