I’m headed to New York again for a few days to meet on a big project coming up. It’s in the early stages, but it’s an amazing opportunity and I can’t wait until I can share more with you guys. In the meantime, I know the holidays are approaching and we are already thinking about what to wear! I’ll be sharing two ways to style this turtleneck sweater – dressed up for the holidays and also dressed down.
Outfit 1 // Dressed Up
First look I’m showing is the dressed up version. This outfit would be great worn as a holiday party outfit. I love this look because of all of the different textures that just mesh together so perfectly. The sweater is nicely oversized and chunky. I’m wearing a small. Almost all sizes are sold out, but hopefully it will get restocked at some point. If not, Nordstrom has a lot of great options so I’ll link similar sweaters that would work with both looks I’m sharing below. I paired it with a pretty emerald green pleated midi skirt. It has a gorgeous shine to it and the pleats make it flowy and flattering. I loooove these snake print booties. I thought the style and print looked so cute with the skirt and I usually always prefer a pointed toe! The neutral color of the booties balances out the burnt orange and green so that it’s not overwhelming.
Outfit 2 // Dressed Down
I shared this outfit on Instagram last week and it’s the second way to wear an oversized turtleneck sweater. This look can be worn for getting lunch or to a casual dinner, running errands, or really for any casual outings. For a quick and easy styling tip, I recommend tucking the sweater in the front. It automatically makes your outfit look more put-together and chic. The exact Levi jeans pictured aren’t available on Nordstrom, but I linked these which are a very similar pair that I wear all the time. These booties are one of my favorite go-to shoes. I like the 3″ block heel and it’s perfect to wear with ankle jeans because of where the boot hits over the ankle just perfectly. It comes in a ton of different colors and in leather or suede options. There is even a snake and leopard pair.
Thank you Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
