Happy holidays friends!! Hanukkah has begun and Christmas is 2 weeks away. Will you be hosting family or friends sometime this month? We LOVE to entertain! I thought it’d be fun to gather up all my favorite old and new recipes that are perfect for the holiday season. Then if you like one you still have time to pick up all the ingredients, because if you’re anything like me, there are still a few things to grab 😉
Even if you aren’t hosting, one of these recipes would be great to make and take with you! I always like to bring a dish or a drink with me. It certainly helps out whoever is hosting.
These pecan bars and my family spiced bundt cake are so easy to make and are a great gift for neighbors, teachers, or anyone else you need a last minute idea for! I love to give treats like these as gifts… the time it takes to make them just adds a little more thoughtfulness behind it 🖤
Add the treats to these cute tins from Target.
Find the pecan bar recipe here.
And my family recipe for spiced bundt cake here.
Isn’t this cold brew martini so festive?! And the perfect sweet drink for this time of year. I shared the recipe on my Instagram, so you can watch the video here. But it only takes a few ingredients so I wrote down the recipe here as well!
– 1 1/2 oz cold brew concentrate (I used Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee concentrate signature black)
– 1 1/2 oz coffee cream liqueur (I used Caffe Lolita)
– 1 1/2 oz vodka
– 1 oz half and half
– crushed peppermint
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway up with ice then add ingredients inside. Place the lid on top then shake vigorously for 30 seconds or until extremely cold. Dip glasses in water then crushed peppermints. Pour into a chilled, peppermint rimmed martini glass then serve. I garnished with a few espresso coffee beans. Recipe makes 2 martinis!
We are also big wine drinkers so we recently tried this mulled wine recipe and it’s a winner! The warm, spiced wine is the perfect drink on a cold, snowy night and is easy to make in a batch for a holiday party.
We are so excited for all the fun festivities over the next few weeks and to spend some quality time with family. And these recipes are all on my list to make this week!
xo, Jaime
