Do you own a pair of black combat boots yet? They are one of the top trending shoes for fall and winter 2020 and I am obsessed with them ! I have a boot roundup that includes some of my favorite booties, winter and combat boots – here. What I love about them is that you can go for a simple all black pair or get bold with an embellished pair like these. Keep reading to see how combat boots can be styled casual to dressy with the 10 different outfits I’ve put together below !
Combat Boots with Jeans:
This is an easy fall look you can’t go wrong with. Here are 3 different ways on how to wear combat boots with skinny jeans and crop flare jeans.

These boots are from last year and no longer in stock but here are some similar pairs:

Same outfit as above, but switch out the blazer with a duster cardigan. The one I’m wearing is almost sold out, but here is a similar one // Graphic Tee // Jeans // Boots (similar)
Wear Combat Boots with Leggings:
Faux leather leggings are a closet staple. I own both the spanx and commando leggings and you can read my review and comparison on the two – in this blog post. Combat boots and faux leather leggings is such a cute combo ! Throw on a shirt jacket for a casual look or pair it with a dressy sweater.

All Black Outfit with Combat Boots:
I am typically a cream/ivory neutrals person, but I definitely wear a lot more black and darker colors in general during fall and winter. My styling tip for monochrome outfits so that they don’t fall flat is including pieces with some texture. For example, in the outfits below I have a ruffle sleeve sweater and the second outfit I’m wearing a cozy fleece jacket. Other ideas could be a ribbed sweater, puff sleeve top, cozy fabrics like sherpa, faux fur, etc.

This jacket is SO cozy. I also have it in the rust color // Leggings // Boots // Bag
Aside from combat boots, I’m also loving the shirt jacket “shacket” trend. I’ll be sharing a roundup of my favs on the blog next week ! Check back or feel free to subscribe to my newsletter 💗
