Hi everyone, today’s post is all about coffee! I start my morning everyday with a cup of coffee. I used to have my tried and true way of making my coffee at home. However, I’ve recently discovered two things that have been game-changing to my coffee process. One of those things is thanks to you guys who recommended the frother. It’s amazing!! I’ll share how I make my coffee and my favorite coffee grounds. I’ll also be posting my go-to Starbucks order when I am in need of that afternoon pick me up!
Best Coffee Brand to Make at Home
My absolute favorite coffee is the Pumpkin Love which is the one I use everyday. I don’t have a picture of it because I have it all poured into a separate container. So what’s pictured are the other two coffee ground flavors I love – the Dunkin Donuts Medium Roast Original Blend and the Caribou Coffee Caramel Ground Coffee.
How Many Scoops of Coffee I Use Per Cup
I fill my coffee maker to level 10 with water and I put 5 scoops of coffee so if you were going to fill it to level 8 you would put four scoops, level 6 you would do three cups and so on.
The Best Healthy Unsweetened Dairy-Free Coffee Creamer
I mentioned in the beginning that there were two game-changers to how I make my coffee nowadays. The other one are the nutpods. I used to put sugar and honey to sweeten my coffee, but ever since I started using the nutpods, I no longer have to put any sweeteners in it. They are so so good. Plus if you are looking for healthier ways to make coffee at home, these are such a good option. They’re a dairy-free coffee creamer made from almonds and coconuts. Plus no added sugars or alternative sweeteners!!
My favorite flavor is the french vanilla and the pumpkin. My least favorite and the one I won’t buy again is the caramel flavor. I measure out 2 tablespoons of whichever nutpod flavor I decide for that morning and add it to my cup of coffee then next step is onto the frother!
Using a Frother for Coffee
I had many of you tell me about the frother which I had never heard of before prior to. Again, a game-changer! I had to order one for Park City as well – that’s how much I liked it. It makes it foamy and frothy at the top so that you don’t see the weird separation with the creamer in the coffee.
And that’s it! Super simple and easy to make. My coffee mug is from Anthropologie, but sold out. They have the best coffee mugs so I’ll link these ones that are so cute:
My Starbucks Order
Last but not least, I’ll share what I always order from Starbucks. Several months ago, I thought it would be fun to try different drinks and I shared them here in this blog post – 10 Under 100 Calories Starbucks Drink Orders, but other than that, I mostly just stick to these two orders. I order it from the app and just go to the drive-thru and pick it up. It’s so convenient for an afternoon pick me up.
