One of my favorite meals to have for breakfast is overnight oats. A local place sells some delicious overnight oats, but I’ve been working on recreating a version to make at home. And I finally perfected it to share with you!
These are super easy to make. You just mix it all up in these mason jars and store it overnight in the fridge, and by morning you’ll have a delicious breakfast! It’s perfect for busy mornings on-the-go. But, if you forgot to make them the night before or have a slower morning, you can adjust the recipe and use minute oats instead. Just let them sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes or so.
Because these are a favorite, I like to store the dry ingredients in these glass jars, so I always have them on hand! Plus these jars look pretty on your countertop 🙂 I top my oats with muesli instead of granola… it’s a healthier option, and I like the consistency better. This is the muesli I use. Ely also likes when I add in half a smashed banana, which makes it way too filling for me, but he’s a growing boy 😉 My recipe calls for a little Greek yogurt too, which is optional, but I love it with!
