Summer is FINALLY here in Park City! We got so much snow over a long winter that I am extra excited to enjoy the warm weather on our patio. And of course sip on a drink while I’m out there relaxing. These are 5 of my favorite alcoholic drinks to make for summer. Let me know which is your favorite!
Margarita
- Rim your glass
- Dip into a plate of salt
- Fill shaker with ice
- Add one shot of tequila
- Fill 1/2 of a shot glass with cointreau
- Add 1 shot of Trader’s Joes Margarita Mix
- Shake thoroughly, pour into glass and enjoy!
Grapefruit Sunrise Cocktail

- 1 part whipped or regular vodka
- 2 parts ruby red grapefruit juice drink you could try the ruby red vodka in lieu of plain vodka and ruby red juice
- 1 part orange liqueur
- Splash lemon juice
- Splash grenadine
- slices Optional: Ruby red grapefruitand/or rosemary sprigs for garnish
Ingredients

- Mix vodka, ruby red grapefruit juice, orange liqueur, and lemon juice together and pour in a glass over ice. Top with grenadine. Garnish with grapefruit slices and/or rosemary sprigs, if desired.

Spicy Margarita

- 1 cup Q Mixers Light margarita mix
- 1.5 cups Tequila Espolon brand
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 seeded jalapeño slices
Ingredients

- Blend all the ingredients twice.
- Salt the rim of your glass. Pour mix over ice. Enjoy!!
Frozen Jalapeño Margarita
To make a frozen Jalapeño Margarita, all you do is follow the same instructions as above and just add ice then blend.
Ranch Water
Note: if you want to make it not spicy, just leave out the jalapeños

- Lime wedges
- Flaky sea salt such as Maldon
- chili lime rimming salt I used Twang-a-Rita
- 1 bottle silver tequila chilled, 750 ml
- 48 ounces sparkling water preferably Topo Chico, chilled, 6 cups
Ingredients

- Run a lime wedge around rim of each serving glass; dip in salt and pepper flakes.
- Fill glasses with ice.
- Pour 1 1/2 to 2 ounces tequila and 2 slices of jalapeno into shaker and mix well.
- Top with sparkling water and serve each with a lime wedge.
Frosé (Frozen Rose)

- 1 bottle Rosé wine
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1 cup chopped strawberries fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
Ingredients

- Pour entire bottle of Rosé wine in a gallon freezer bag and freeze for 12+ hours. Combine sugar and water and heat in micro or on stove until bubbling and sugar dissolves. Add in strawberries, stir, and put in fridge for 12+ hours. Watch Frozen II several times. 12-24 hours later in a blender combine your frozen-ish Rosé, 1/4 cup vodka, and 1/2 cup or more (depending on your level of sweetness that you like) of the strawberry simple syrup. Blend and enjoy.
