Happy Wednesday guys!! One of your blog post requests was for kids birthday party ideas. Let me start by saying I may have teared up pulling these photos because how in the world have they grown so fast?! Gosh, I love their age now, but do miss these little baby faces! Our parties are pretty typical now – i.e. they invite a few friends to sleepover, or just a swimming party in our backyard. So what I am sharing below are the early years for Ely and Fynn. We started going to Park City in the summer when Zander was born, so we have always celebrated his birthday there. However, last year he was like “ummm I don’t think so, I want a party”!! We threw him a swimming party at our house with some of his friends a few weeks before his actual bday.
The Boy’s Past Birthdays
Fynn!! Turning 1. Look at that face! The theme was nautical and we had it in our backyard (old house).
Ice cream table
I bought these colorful flag streamers and ended up using them for a bunch of their bday parties.
Added a little kiddie pool
Below is Fynn’s 2nd bday party. I found a petting zoo company to come to the house!
I found this cut-out on Amazon 🙂
Ely’s 4th bday party at Pump It Up.
Zander’s first bday in Park City!! I had Ely help me make the rainbow icing.
Ely’s 3rd bday, we had a fire truck come to the house!!!
Fynn’s 3rd bday was a train theme. There is this cute train that they would bring to the house and they take the kids around the block (over and over and over ????)
Threw this ball pit in here, we got this as a gift for Fynn and look at that smile! It was a favorite of theirs for many many years.
Cakes & Party Favors
These Spiderman cake pops were the party favors for Ely’s 4th birthday party.
Fynn’s 1st nautical-inspired birthday cake! For those living in Dallas, I use Steins Bakery for all of my “fancy” cakes.
Always loved these cupcake cakes!!
A fun idea is to make pancakes in your kids favorite color the morning of their birthday 🙂
xo, Jaime
