Outfit Details: Lord & Taylor Sleeveless Printed Chiffon Blouse // Karl Lagerfeld Side-Zip Pants
Figuring out how to dress appropriately for work while still feeling confident and loving what you’re wearing can be difficult to navigate. Today I’m partnering with Walmart to share two outfits you can mix and match for your 9 to 5.
Pair A Trendy Item with a Classic Piece for Work
One of my first tips is to incorporate a trendy item with a classic piece. Right now, animal print is so popular and a great option to include in your work wardrobe. I’m wearing a small in the sleeveless blouse. It’s lightweight and can be worn by itself in the summer or you can throw on a blazer for fall. I recommend tucking into your pants for a more put-together look. The pants I’m wearing are super flattering with the pleated front and it hits right at my ankle. I ordered a size 2. Lastly, a versatile and spacious work handbag is essential. This one comes in great neutral colors that can be mixed and matched with your outfit any day of the week.

Buy Workwear Pieces That Can Easily Be Mixed & Matched
For the majority of working women, you’re typically putting together five different outfits a week. It’s definitely not ideal to buy a pair of pants that only goes with a specific style top or vice versa. That can be overwhelming! The key to shopping for workwear pieces is to make sure the clothes you’re buying can easily be mixed and matched.
My second outfit is perfect to wear to the office in fall. The sweater fits true to size (I’m wearing my usual small) and I sized down one in the leggings to an extra small. To put my second tip into play, you can easily wear the sleeveless blouse from the first outfit with these leggings with a pair of nude pumps. Same goes with this leopard sweater and the pants from the first outfit that you can wear together.
Walmart has so many great workwear pieces that hit the mark I’m looking for when it comes to shopping for work appropriate clothing. Not to mention, they carry a ton of brands I love like Lord and Taylor. I hope you found this helpful and if you guys want to see more workwear outfit inspiration on the blog, just let me know!
