I hope you guys had the best Father’s Day! We dropped Ely off at his first sleep-away camp last week. I’ve been hearing from other parents that taking their kids to camp gives them a refreshing much-needed break but quite honestly, I have been missing him SO much and I can’t wait to have him back. I haven’t had a chance to talk to him because the camp only allows letters and emails. First of all, E is 9…. he doesn’t do email yet haha! Thankfully, we pick him up tomorrow. The camp did say that after the 8-day camp, the kids like to come back the next year for a 3.5 week camp. Um. I’m not sure how I’ll handle that. I have a year to prepare, but I would love to hear from you guys how you’ve handled your kids being away for that long!
Moving on to everyone’s favorite – the top 5 items! If you’ve been checking in every week and browsing the top 5, I don’t think you’ll be at all surprised to see what my #1 item is. Everything is from Amazon – again, not surprising. Enjoy!
Sleeveless Bodycon Ruched Mini Dress
I am loving this pretty sea green color for summer and the overlap hem detail. I wore it with my favorite summer kimono, but the dress looks amazing by itself too. It also comes in other colors and a short sleeve option. I went with my usual size small.
Crochet Sheer Cold Shoulder Tunic Swim Cover Up
This swim coverup is on the pricier side, but it is so effortless and super cute! I went with a small. The swimsuit I’m wearing underneath was #5 on my top 5 from a few weeks ago – here. My sandals are also from Amazon and they are my favorite ones to wear to the pool. They come in a ton of different colors!
Plunging Neck Striped Mesh One Piece Backless Pom Pom Swimsuit
Guys, I am so sorry but this swimsuit is completely sold out. I will be checking for restocks and let you guys know ASAP. In the meantime, here a couple of other great options for one piece swimsuits: this one, this one and this one (all from Amazon).
Off the Shoulder Tiered Ruffle Pleated Casual Midi Dress
This is the dress I mentioned last week that I had in two different colors! I dressed it up by pairing it with heels in the white version. You can see the peachy pink color – here (see #4) where I dressed it down with sandals. I’m wearing a small in both colors and it’s the perfect fit. Tbh I wish it came in a bright red because wearing this makes me feel like: ????
Casual Trouser Paper Bag Tie Waist Pants
I mean not to be dramatic or anything, but I think these pants changed my life. No but seriously, I have been non-stop wearing them. I’m so glad that Amazon keeps restocking them! (Currently sold out in the small right now though.) If you’ve been eyeing them for awhile, I would go ahead and just order them to see what the rage is all about. They’re only $22!
Talk to you guys soon!
xo, Jaime

My oldest 2 are away for their 2 weeks camp, now. This is their 2nd year at 2 weeks! It has become one of my favorite times of the Summer…. now that I know they are having the time of their lives. Blake and I fully focus on our youngest, Delaney. We do 2 weeks of all the things the 3rd born rarely gets to do! Play dates with HER friends, one on one time with both of us and each of us! We do things like school supply shop one on one, she gets to make a pallet in our room, and we have so much time and energy to just focus on her! So 2 weeks of overnight for the older ones is a win win for everyone in the family!

I think 2 weeks is definitely doable! But I think 3.5 weeks is too much for us. You guys seem to have the rhythm down for sleep-away camps though!!
