It was a busy at The Real Fashionista last week. We took care of the boy’s back to school outfit (blog post here) and supply shopping (blog post here), I updated the Park City summer travel guide with new places we discovered recently and sharing our go-to activities and so much more. I just wanted to remind you guys that you can sign up for my newsletter so you can always stay up-to-date with all that’s going on the blog. I do a big recap, share my weekly 4 items and outfits you might have missed. You can subscribe here.
As of this weekend, we are officially back in Texas and already missing PC. I spent the entire weekend unpacking and organizing. Now, we’re just trying to get back into the swing of things before the boys start school again. Do you guys have any personal tips on how you get back to a routine after a long vacation?
Hope you guys enjoy this week’s top 5! There’s a nice mix of summer and fall transitional pieces!
Oversized Batwing Knit Sweater
Does it say anything about an item if I tell you guys I have it in three different colors? Because I have to admit, I originally had it in white (wore in the spring and it sold out so quick) and just recently ordered it in this taupe color and black! Love love love the sweater. It is a little leg but not long enough to wear as a sweater dress. You can pair it with a mini skirt as I did above or leggings or jeans in the winter. I am wearing it in a small.
Strapless Ruched Maxi Dress
This is a cute, easy to throw on dress which also happens to be one of my top three best-selling dresses this year. I’m wearing a small and it’s prime eligible!
Oversized Leopard Print Sweater
I placed a huge Amazon order and posted a try-on video to show a few things. It’s saved on my Instagram story highlights in case you missed it. This was my absolute favorite item from the order. I’m wearing a small and it definitely fits oversized – just how I wanted it! It’s long enough to wear as a dress (I’m just under 5’7″) so you can wear with this with over the knee boots for a cute fall look. You can also wear it with a belt cinched at the waist. I found this designer lookalike belt on Amazon that I styled this sweater with.
Gray Pichot Poncho
A little flashback with this one. It was my #1 sold poncho from last year and I found it in stock on Amazon Prime! I have it in cream so had to snatch up the gray as well but it comes in several other colors. I wore it all the time with leggings – SO COZY.
Leopard Print Ruffle Trim Dress
Wore this for a date night look the other week in Park City (more casual date night outfit ideas here). To make it a step more casual, you can wear it without the belt, keep the sneakers and switch out the moto jacket for a denim one. This one is my all time favorite denim jacket. You can also wear it with a cardigan too.
Have a great Tuesday!
xo, Jaime
