One of my most requested topics for 2020 was more workwear. To make mornings run more smoothly, planning out work outfits for the week is a good routine to get into. I’m not a huge planner myself, but even planning an outfit the night before saves so much time in the mornings. Below you’ll find 5 outfits that cover a Monday through Friday work week!
5 Outfits for Each Day of the Work Week
Monday Work Outfit:
Plaid blazers are a closet essential. I bought mine in fall and have worn it through 2 seasons and spring will be the third. The versatility of this piece is so good! You can wear it in professional settings as shown above or dress it down with jeans and a graphic tee on the weekends for a casual look.
Tuesday Work Outfit:
Experimenting with adding pops of print to your workwear wardrobe is a fun way to step out of the comfort of your everyday black office slacks. Instead of a midi skirt, you can also add a leopard print through a top like this one and wear it under a blazer or start smaller with a leopard print belt.
Wednesday Work Outfit:
Two of my favorite spring trends: paper bag pants and puff sleeve tops. Putting together an outfit by adding multiple trends can start looking chaotic and sometimes too much, but these two trends look great together. Plus, the muted neutral colors are great for spring.
Thursday Work Outfit:
Another neutral outfit for spring! The top comes in a white colorway so you could make this an all white outfit if you wanted! This blazer is another one of my closet essentials that you can transition from wearing to work to the weekend.
Casual Friday Work Outfit:
Although I don’t work in a traditional office setting, I know many offices have a more relaxed dress code these days. Some have casual Fridays and others are fine with jeans all days of the week. So if that’s the case, this outfit can be worn earlier in the week. I love this top. It looks designer without the price tag and transitions perfectly to spring and summer. I absolutely love these sleeves and you can wear it with white jeans or white dress pants too.
