The Perfect Poncho

TGIF my friends!  I’m going to jump right into this check print woven poncho and then tell you about the rest of my week and how glad I am that it is almost over!  So not only is this poncho the most perfect color (ever) it is one size fits all.  I always used to question the whole one size fits all option when buying things like this but don’t.. it’s legit.  Back when I used to do personal shopping, every time I would bring a poncho like this to a clients house, it would fit 100% off the time and always be a favorite.  Do you remember the other day when I said I love to throw a plaid shirt on in the cold weather months?  Well,  I feel the exact same way about ponchos.  Know why?  Because you can wear a t-shirt whether it’s long sleeved or short sleeved underneath!  Unfortunately this exact color sold out last night after I posted it on Instagram, but I have a good feeling it will be restocked.  I love the grey version as well and also included some of my other favorites above my first photo in this post (simply click on the little square picture and it will take you to the website).

So now a bit of personal stuff.  My Dad has been feeling sick for the last month and this past weekend it got really bad.  It’s been on and off fatigue and nausea but then turned into not being able to keep anything down or pretty much get out of bed.  We’ve been so worried, and waiting for the cat scan was seriously brutal, but I’m happy to say that it ended up being 3 large hernias.  So out of all possible outcomes, this one is good because once they remove them and he recovers, he will be completely back to normal!  My mom just called and said he just got out of surgery and everything went well!!  It was a complicated surgery so we are all super relieved!  The boys are already asking when they can facetime with him 🙂
