Hi everyone! Before you scroll any further, I wanted to give full disclosure that there is a good chance today’s post will have you wishing for fall to come faster than you already might be wanting. Versatility is key when adding new pieces to your closet. To get the most bang for your buck, not only can you wear many of these pieces I’ll be featuring below into fall, but also all season. It’s all about how you style it and today, I’ll be sharing nine head to toe outfits that you can transition from summer to fall with.
Outfit Details: Topshop Rita Blazer // Topshop Ripped High Waist Dad Jeans // Sam Edelman Hazel Pointy Toe Pump // Valentino Rockstud Matelassé Quilted Leather Crossbody Bag
Outfit Details: Topshop Rita Blazer // Mini Skirt (similar) // Chloe Small Faye Leather Shoulder Bag // Vince Camuto Nestel Knee High Boot
Blazers are my favorite because depending on the occasion, you can dress it up or down for either work or play. Since my office is in my home with Khali as my assistant (for new readers, she is my Goldendoodle pup!), I typically dress it down with distressed jeans instead of work appropriate pants if I have a lunch meeting or something like that. I’m styling this look with heels, but if I’m going for full casual, I’ll wear my Golden Goose sneakers. Another favorite of mine is styling a blazer with a mini skirt. Nordstrom has some really cute options like this one. I’m a huge fan of this look for fall. Keep scrolling for another blazer I am styling below.
Outfit Details: Topshop Patch Cable Crewneck Sweater // Topshop Ripped High Waist Dad Jeans // Chloe ‘Medium Marcie’ Leather Satchel
Sweater weather cannot come fast enough. I’m loving this cozy, slightly oversized sweater from Topshop. The mix knit details makes it stand out from your average ivory sweater. You can also style this sweater half tucked with a suede mini skirt like the one I’m wearing above.
Outfit Details: Topshop Double Breasted Plaid Blazer // Topshop Ripped High Waist Dad Jeans // Gucci GG Marmont 2.0 Matelassé Leather Belt Bag
Outfit Details: Topshop Double Breasted Plaid Blazer // Biker Shorts (similar) // Gucci Soho Disco Leather Bag
The plaid blazer was a closet staple I knew I wanted to have for fall. My eyes laid on this Double Breasted Plaid Blazer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year and I snatched it up. I tried on several others in stores, but loved this one because the colors are more subtle/muted. I’m wearing the US4 and it fits perfectly. For a summer to fall transitional casual look, you can style it with biker shorts. I admit I wasn’t the biggest fan when I started noticing the the biker shorts trend appearing. Biting my tongue now because I tried them out and oh my goodness… they are so comfortable and versatile. I wear them all the time now. The Topshop ones I’m wearing are sold out, but here is a similar pair. Another way to wear a plaid blazer is to pair it with these Topshop jeans or even leggings when it starts to get cooler.
Outfit Details: Topshop ‘The Doors’ Crop Tee // alo High Waist Biker Shorts // Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 Running Shoe
I’m all for a graphic tee. It’s easy to throw on and just head out the door. Since this one I’m wearing has a cropped fit, I always pair it with high waisted shorts, jeans or leggings. The collar also has some light distressing to give it a more lived-in vintage feel.
Outfit Details: Topshop Button Up Prairie Top // Levi’s 501® Ripped High Waist Straight Leg Jeans // Chloe Small Faye Leather Shoulder Bag
From the sleeves, the flattering square neckline, the button up detail… this top is a keeper and the color is perfect for fall.
Outfit Details: Topshop Carly Jacket // Free People Softly Structured Knit Tunic // Vince Camuto Nestel High Knee Boots
Guys, I am obsessed with the Topshop Carly Jacket. This is a purely fall (depending where you live, you may not need the jacket just yet)/winter look. The jacket does run large, so I recommend sizing down one. I went with the oatmeal color because I know I’ll be able to wear it over a ton more outfits than the brown color it also comes in.
Outfit Details: Topshop Short Sleeve Utility Jacket
Last up is this Short Sleeve Utility Dress. I just love the button down detailing. The tie is removable although I prefer to wear it with the tie to accentuate the waist for a more flattering fit.

Do you guys want to know a fun fact? I shot all of these outfits in triple digit Texas weather. Let’s just say I had to take several breaks and blast the AC in the car between outfits. Although in all reality, I think I would rather be dripping in sweat than in February shooting bathing suits and shots while freezing. What about you guys… which would you rather endure?
xo, Jaime
Thank you Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
