The countdown to Christmas is almost here and I cannot wait. It really is the best time of the year! ???? With that being said, that means holiday party season is also creeping up, and I know picking and choosing your outfit can be a little bit tricky. That’s why I picked out outfits on the casual side and also pieces that you can dress up for more formal events.
I definitely think a pair of ankle strap sandals and over the knee boots is a staple piece and can be easily worn with any holiday outfit (or really, a staple for any wardrobe, they make great go-to shoes!) I linked a pair of Stuart Weitzman OTK boots above, but if you’re looking for a more affordable option, here is a super similar pair. As for accessories, I really love this Rebecca Minkoff glitter clutch, they also have it in solid black, a glittered black or in metallic – how fun!
That’s probably another thing I love about this season – so much glitter, metallic, velvet, silk, satin, etc. It’s hard to incorporate those textures in your outfits at other times of the year, but it’s full force during the holidays. I definitely take advantage ???? Referring to these metallic pants, this sequin skirt, and this gorgeous satin top.
One outfit I didn’t get to add, but I think would make for a cute holiday party outfit is opting for a sequin mini dress worn under a fitted or oversized blazer. It hasn’t come in yet, but I ordered this bright red blazer from Nordstrom and I think it would look so cute under a champagne or gold sequin dress like this one!
Holiday party outfit shopping can be a little bit stressful because there are so many options out there, but I hoped this guide gave you some good ideas! Have a great rest of your day everyone ????
