2 Candles I Use to Make My Home Feel Cozy

How many times have you ever walked into someone’s home and you thought to yourself: “what is that smell?!” (in a good way haha!) Capri Blue has some of the best smelling candles out there. If you are a self-proclaimed candle enthusiast, you probably already know about their Volcano scent and know just how amazing it is. I love the Volcano Signature Blue Jar but the fragrance comes in more than just candles. For example, they have the lotion, hand wash, diffuser… I mean seriously so many things. I am so excited for the opportunity to partner with Capri Blue and show you guys two other candles that I love. Being that we are still in the mountains in Park City, I got the Pumpkin Dulce Glam Signature Jar and the Dark Vanilla & Sandalwood Jumbo Gilded Faceted Jar. Not only do the candles smell heavenly, but they’re great home decor pieces that can easily be incorporated into our space. I like to describe our condo as “mountain chic” – cozy, welcoming, but still modern. The two candles were just the cherry on top to help achieve the look, feel and yes, smell that I was going for. They’re a great option as a fall/autumn candle for your home – especially the Pumpkin Dulce Glam Signature Jar. Below, I’m sharing a few tips on burning your candles at home and more great options.

I don’t know about you guys, but lighting a candle really helps set my mood and tone for the day. Since the majority of my time is spent working from home, that’s important to me. However, I have to be careful with that. These candles make you feel extra cozy and I can’t be like Khali in the middle of the work day. (Scroll down to the last photo to see what I’m talking about. ????)

Tips on Burning Candles

To prevent carbon from accumulating on the candle wick:

1. Trim about 1/4″ of the wick before you burn the candle
2. It’s recommended to not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time
3. When there is only 1/2″ of wax remaining, it’s time to say goodbye to your candle and get a new one. Might I suggest one from Capri Blue? ????

For reference, the benchmark is to burn at least one hour per inch of the candle’s diameter. However the exception to the rule would be for example, the Dark Vanilla & Sandalwood Jumbo Gilded Faceted Jar which has a diameter of 5″. I would only burn it for 4 hours instead of 5 before extinguishing it.
