Happy Wednesday friends! I was super excited to get this post out today because I always love a new trend. The new buckle boot trend for fall has me wanting them all! Maybe because we have all worn (and still love.. don’t get me wrong) the simple suede boots so much that this fun little detail is a nice change.
Winter dressing can tend to get pretty basic layering up with sweaters all the time so these buckle boots liven up the outfit. I also bought these, which have a bit of a western chic feel to them and look somewhat similar to what I’m wearing in the first look above. Since I also love the western sheek trend, those were a must 🙂
I would say the most “statement” making of the 3 looks would be the 2nd pair/look. I am also loving the slouchy feel of those. If you have a wider calf, they will also be a great fit.
Finally, the riding boots in my last look are a classic. Riding boots have taken a back seat over the last few years however they continue to be one of my favorites. You can shop more riding boots here.
Whether you go with a classic buckle boot or a statement pair, Nordstrom has a great selection. I love that you can filter out what you want to shop for on their website as well. I searched for “buckle boots” and selected the price for under $200 and found some great options. That’s also how I discovered these two adorable pairs from Vince Camuto (here & here).
