Fall means endless blanket scarves and the endless ways in which we can wear them! So excited to bring ya’ll this post today with some of my blogger besties here in Dallas. These girls have become some my closest friends and are undoubtedly some of the most fashionable gals around town. I take inspiration from them daily so the fact that we showed up to this photo shoot all wearing our scarves a different way was just proof that we all have a creative and unique take on our personal style. As you scroll down, you will be able to shop each girls look under their picture.
As you all know by now, I’m pretty obsessed with anything burgundy or olive green this season, so I opted to go with burgundy hues for my scarf. This scarf is slightly narrower and shorter than a blanket or infinity scarf so I like to style this type of scarf with just a simple loop and knot tie. I’ve been wearing open toe booties like a crazy lady this fall! With our mild temps open toe booties can be worn even into early winter and then brought back out in the spring!
Amanda Miller, The Miller Affect
Amanda’s scarf is called “autumn plaid scarf” and that just sums this one up perfectly! The colors couldn’t be more fabulous for fall not to mention how versatile they are. She is wearing hers as a triangle with the ends tucked in underneath. She can wear it with or without her military jacket as well as throwing it on over a sweater such as this or this one.
Lynlee Poston, Gal About Town
Lynlee chose pastels for her look which is always a favorite of mine during cold weather months. At some point we all get bored of “fall colors” and it is so refreshing to lighten the mood a bit. Last year one of my favorite coats was light pink (like this one) and how cute would Lynlee’s blanket scarf look with it!? Lynlee did the simple wrap once around the neck with the ends in the front for her blanket scarf style.
Christina Beauchamp, Fashion and Frills
Christina has so many trends going on I can’t decide which I like the most! From her fringe edged scarf, to her off the shoulder sweater dress (killing two trends with one piece on that one) and her over the knee boots, she is completely ready for a chilly fall day. I also love how simple and elegant her scarf looks draped around her neck. I have been on the hunt for some good sweater dresses lately so I have rounded up a bunch of my favs for ya’ll along with the rest of Christina’s outfit below.
Natalie Keinan, The Fashion Hour
My gal (and one of my NYFW roomies) Natalie went with some oh so must have fall basics. Nothing says fall like cozying up by the fire in an oversized sweater tunic and comfy blanket scarf. Black suede over the knee boots are another closet staple in my mind and her’s are less than $200! Natalie wrapped her blanket scarf similar to Lynlee but it has a different affect because this one is a little larger. I just love the endless ways a scarf can look when styled!
I hope you all enjoyed this post! I plan on having more of these in the future and look forward to sharing all of these fabulous girls with you often. Since we clearly can’t get enough of the blanket scarf this season, I have rounded them all up for you again plus more of my must haves below!
Have a great day!!
xo, Jaime
