My Wellness Journey with Formula Wellness

Hi friends !  One thing I want to continue and make a priority in 2021 is self-care. I started going to a med spa here in Dallas called Formula Wellness back in November. I’ve been going once a month since and I have had such a great experience each time. Their wellness centers are based around not only beauty, but wellness ! They have 4 locations in DFW, one in Scottsdale, Arizona and will be opening one soon in Houston. I thought with the stresses we have all experienced this past year, focusing on your health is so important. I thought it would be helpful to share which services I’ve tried and bring you along on my wellness journey 🤍

1.) IV Therapy

For my first visit, I thought I would keep it simple and try out one of their facial options. However, I learned more about their IV infusions and thought it sounded interesting so gave it a try!  I went with the ‘Myers Cocktail’ which helps reduce fatigue, enhance the immune system, and provides powerful boosts of antioxidants. For my second visit, I got the ‘Super Immune’ which helps fight infection and boost your immune system naturally. They have a ton more options. I was a little nervous, but the IV did not hurt at all. The process took about an hour for each one. They sit you in a reclining chair where you can relax and they also have TVs on. I brought my laptop and got to knock out a little bit of work. You get so much energy from the IV shot.  I don’t feel the energy until the next day, but it lasts for about a week. There’s also no downtime after the IV.

2.) Facials

When it comes to facials, I am clueless so along with the IV therapy on my first visit, I also got a HydraFacial. I’ve never gotten one done before so I was super excited. I was able to get my IV shot and once that was going, they were able to do the HydraFacial at the same time ! No time wasted 🙌🏻🙌🏻 It was so relaxing and my skin was glowy the next morning. 3.) Covid Testing

This past week, I went to go visit my parents in San Antonio. I didn’t have any symptoms, but to just to be safe I got both the rapid antibody and antigen test. It was super quick and helped ease my mind knowing that both tests came out negative. You can also schedule them to come to your house which is super convenient (they do home visits for the IV therapy as well) ! Learn more about their covid testing – here.
