Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited to share the pictures of our Home Away house from this last weekend in Palm Springs! I think my favorite part (hard to choose just one) was the backyard and the view. Gorgeous!
I’m talking more about our trip and my Home Away experience at the bottom of this post. Enjoy these beautiful pictures!!
Have any of you used Home Away before? This wasn’t my first time, and just like my other experiences they most definitely did not disappoint. Mark and I have used Home Away for our Park City, Utah rentals, and we always find that the houses are impeccably clean and are accurately represented on the website. For me, that is the number one selling point. How many times have you looked at a house or even a hotel and the pictures look completely different than when you arrive? The worst! This is why I always come back to Home Away. I swear sometimes the houses are even better than in the pictures!!
I would choose a house rental over a hotel 9 times out of 10. Here’s why –
When you are staying with a group of friends, it is always nice to be under one roof. You don’t have to constantly be coordinating plans via text, or knocking on each others hotel room door.
If your house has a pool, it’s your OWN pool for the stay. So no lugging your stuff up and down an elevator, you can leave your towels out to dry, the pool isn’t crowded, and the list goes on.
You can eat at home if you choose. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a cook and would prefer to go out for dinner while on vacation, however it is SO nice to be able to wake up in the morning and make coffee and breakfast without having to get dressed to go out.. because lets be honest, room service in hotels gets pretttty expensive.
Our Home Away house in Palm Springs was probably the nicest, most jaw dropping one I have visited thus far. I honestly don’t think I could go back to Palm Springs and ever stay somewhere else (that could be a problem .. haha) The thing about it is, when you have 10 people or couples, a house like this becomes very affordable! This was a 6 bedroom house and some of the rooms had 2 queen size beds! The bedrooms were beyond spacious and so were the bathrooms. Nearly all of the bedrooms had a door that went out to a courtyard and the views from each and every room of the house were breathtaking.
You can see more pictures and details of the our Palm Springs home here.
I hope that if you are thinking about renting a vacation home that I have convinced you to use Home Away! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!
Have a great day friends!!
xo, Jaime
