Do You Need to Wash Jeans and Sweaters After Every Wear?
Hi friends!! Many people think they have to wash their sweaters and jeans every time they wear them, but you really don’t! Doing this will just make your clothes fade and wear out faster. Also the less laundry, the better 😄 I get a couple of wears in before I put them through the washer. A good range is anywhere between 3-10 days.
Tip: when it’s time to wash your jeans, flip them inside out to avoid color fade out.
How to Keep Clothes Fresh for the Days in Between
I love my jeans and wear them all the time ! (See my style review for my favorite denim – here. ) To keep my jeans clean without washing them, I will give it a couple of sprays with this Tide antibacterial fabric spray. The spray is great to have for covid right now, but also to keep clothes fresh without over-washing them. Plus, it smells really good ! After spraying, I’ll set it out in the backyard to let the sun dry and freshen it up. I do the same process for all my sweaters too.
How to De-Pill Sweaters with a Fabric Shaver
In some cases, no matter how little you wash your sweaters or how well you take care of them, some of them are bound to pill over time. This conair fabric shaver is the best!! It’s super affordable and so easy to use. I use it for my sweaters and coats. All you do is go over the spots where it’s pilling and it takes it right off. No need add a ton of pressure when you’re going over it with fabric shaver. It’s so satisfying and I could honestly do it for hours 🤣 It makes your clothes look brand new !
I hope this was helpful. Let me know if you have any questions!
