Trend Alert // The Shacket

Shackets also known as a shirt jacket is the latest fall trend that I am LOVING. Not all shackets are made the same ! Some are oversized while others are more fitted (you could also always size down if you don’t want it to fit too baggy). While others are lined or unlined. The plaid ones seem to be the most popular for fall, but I also love the solids and ones with texture like sherpa or faux leather 😍😍 Not only are shackets a cute layering piece for fall, they also work in the winter AND spring so shirt jackets really are so versatile and you will be able to get a ton of wear out of them .

I’ll be sharing a few ways to wear shackets this fall, a round up of some *new* ones I love and shackets under $30 !

How to Style an Oversized Shacket

I mentioned earlier that some are lined. The lined shackets are great for late fall and winter when it gets colder. This cute plaid shacket is lined and has an oversized fit. I’m usually a small in tops and outerwear, but I sized down to an xs in this piece.

You can style an oversized shacket with jeans and booties.

Or another outfit idea is shacket outfit layered over a sweater dress with knee high boots !
