Is it fall yet?! It most definitely is not, however it is the time of year I like to start fall shopping for the boys. Anytime I think of back to school I imagine my boys standing in front of our house in cute fall clothes for their first day of school picture with colorful leaves on the ground. Then I’m quickly reminded that we live in Texas and that just won’t be happening. However, as I’m shopping for shoes and backpacks for their first day of school (they usually just wear clothes they already own) I usually pick up some cute fall clothes for them.. and start counting down the days.. or errr.. months until they can wear them.
I’ve mentioned this before, but Tucker and Tate is one of my favorite brands that Nordstrom carries for the boys. That and of course their beloved Under Armour. I like Tucker and Tate because so many of their pieces can be dressed up or down. For example, Zander’s outfit would be perfect for picture day, or even Thanksgiving, but he can also run around and play comfortably in it. Fynn’s long sleeve tee is Tucker and Tate and could be dressed up by pairing it with some of their pants (like these). He is my most casual dresser (if he could wear no clothes he’d be ecstatic) so I let him wear Under Armor pants with his tee for a super casual look.
Speaking of casual, my kids have been living in activewear all summer long and will continue to once school starts. We usually go straight to a sports practice of some sort when I pick them up from school so it’s an added bonus if they don’t have to change clothes before we go. Fynn and Zander have sooo many tops and shorts from these two pages (here). This is Zander’s favorite activewear tee right now and he has asked me to never wash it. He gets mad when it’s in the dirty clothes! Ha! Ely likes to shop these pages for activewear (here).
Zander went back to school this week and is loving it. This is a new school for him but they said he walked in “like he owned the place”. Does that surprise you?!
Hope everyone has a great day!!
Thank you Nordstrom for partnering on this post.
